Selection Process

The selection process will begin very similar to what you see here.  Your installer will provide samples, based on the criteria you gave.  Because our epoxy is so versatile, the combinations are endless and you are truly able to select the colors and designs you wish.

Surface Preparation

The next step in the process is to level out any inconsistencies in the surface by applying a filler material, and sanding it all even.  This step will ensure that when the epoxy is poured over the countertop, there are no indentations or imperfections to your great new custom coating.  Once this is completed, all surfaces will be cleaned once again with our 99% alcohol that cuts through any remaining oil, grease or residue.

Pour

The pour is an exciting day.  The Diamond Coat premium quality epoxy is poured, your personally selected color choice design is set and begins to harden.  Depending on your design and the number of pours required, the typical set time is 3-6 hours with a final hardening set of 24 hours.  The achieve desired matte finish, it is necessary for the installer to use a series of fine grade sandpapers, which is completed the day after the initial pour.

The Final Result

The final result is an epoxy rendition of matte gray that mimics and ties the countertops to the concrete floor that finishes this kitchen off nicely!

A single pour can be completed in a day, other designs can be completed in 2-4 days.
